David Henley is a Cowra based artist. His practice is informed and inspired by the Australian landscape. He uses gouache when he is out painting en plein air. He tries to find a balance between literal and abstraction, the physical and metaphysical. He is inspired by place, always trying to communicate new ways of seeing and the joy of colour.
