Our Story

Inel Date, owner and curator of little magpie gallery, is a contemporary landscape painter based in Central West NSW. Her full-time studio practice explores diverse themes from serene meditative works to dynamic large-scale pieces, reflecting her love for light, shadows, and expansive vistas. Inel's work often documents the landscapes she encounters, particularly the rivers and wetlands of NSW. Her pieces, known for their vibrant balance of colour, line, and composition, have garnered acclaim, making her a finalist in numerous prestigious art prizes, including the Calleen, Pro Hart Outback Art Prizes, Gosford and Fishers Ghost.
